Inside This Edition of The Agenda:
โ
- A peek inside our first Supper Club (and why intimate gatherings might be the networking we've been missing)
- Could Apple get its first female CEO?
- The surprisingly optimistic predictions for women in 2026
- How to build your own personal advisory network
|
I'm kicking off this week's Agenda with a peek inside Peer Suite's first Supper Club, hosted at the gorgeous Greenhouses in Marylebone. And asking the question - are Supper Clubs the new way to build your network?
โ
I think the answer is most definitely yes. Last Thursday evening, we brought together 16 women for an intimate evening on the topic of Women's Wealth, and the small setting made for deeper conversation and real relationship-building.
โ
When I started Peer Suite, I wanted to create 'not boring networking' events and had an array of ideas in mind. We started with simple networking evenings, and over the last nine months, we've added firesides with inspiring founders, wine-tasting evenings, wellness workshops, walks, and now Supper Clubs. Each format brings a unique way to connect, and at the centre of it all is the mission to create a space that feels comfortable and relaxed, where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and part of the community I'm building.
โ
More Supper Clubs, Brunch Clubs, and other intimate events to come!
โ
If you're new to Peer Suite, attending an event as a guest is the easiest way to experience what we're building. For those who return, membership becomes the natural choice - offering priority access to intimate events like these Supper Clubs, our on-demand content library, 1:1 introductions within the network and more. Founding Membership is currently less than ยฃ25 per month with an annual subscription.

๐ผ LEADERSHIP Could Apple get its first female CEO? Deirdre O'Brien has been at Apple for 35+ years, running retail and HR, and she's now in the mix to replace Tim Cook. Analysts admit they don't know much about her, but that might be the point - sometimes the best leaders are the ones quietly getting it done whilst everyone else is looking elsewhere.
โ
๐ฎ WORKPLACE The predictions for women in 2026 are in, and they're surprisingly optimistic. Operational roles are becoming the new path to CEO as AI takes over routine tasks, we'll see a sharp rise in women founding AI-native companies, and non-entry-level women workers are uniquely positioned to thrive.
โ
๐ฅ MANAGEMENT Turns out Gen Z aren't that different from the rest of us. Despite all the talk about generational gaps, they want the same things we all do - genuine connection, transparency, and room to grow. The secret to managing them? Stop trying to control how they work and start building actual relationships. Do that, and you'll unlock their potential for the innovation everyone keeps talking about.

GOAL SETTING
Building Your Board: Creating a Personal Advisory Network
|
This week I shared the highs and lows of being a Chief Everything Officer over on LinkedIn - including why our Supper Club was the highlight of my year so far. If you're curious about what it actually takes to build a community like this from scratch (without the 'I made a million in 6 months' nonsense), I'm sharing the behind-the-scenes reality every week.
โ
Have a wonderful week ahead!
